This beach holidays is perfect for a first contact with the Caribbean. Guadeloupe is in the French Caribbean and you will get to know the French Caribbean culture and language. This Island is shaped like a butterfly; the nicest beaches are close to your hotel in the area called Grande Terre. The other region, called Basse Terre, is more humid and well known for its luxurious vegetation. You will also have the possibility to explore the neighbouring Islands of La Désirade, Marie-Galante and Les Saintes with the ferry that can take you there for a one day excursion. There are as well other activities despite the farniente and the car will give you all freedom to explore this wonderful Island at your own pace.

Departure from Switzerland (other departure cities available) to Pointe-à-Pitre via Paris. Arrival at the international airport and car rental pick up. You will then drive for about 35 kilometres and arrive at your hotel in Saint-François. Check in for 7 nights accommodation in a standard double room with continental breakfast included. At the end of your stay, return to the airport to leave the car and check in for your return flight.

The property, located on a hill at the top of the residential area called "Les Hauts de Saint-Francois", overlooks the 18 hole international golf course and the sea, and is therefore gently washed by the trade winds. After a day at the beach or on excursion, Golf Village Hotel offers a true haven of peace. You will receive some information about the island and activities you can do from the local representative.  At the end of your stay, you will drop off the car at the airport and take you flight back home.
